Leigh Cox is a UX Designer and Illustrator who works with agencies to ship creative, thoughtful and effective solutions to complex problems.

While Leigh’s background is in design, her introduction to UX was working in the computer lab at her public library. Leigh has spent untold hours navigating government websites- public benefits,VA, social security, immigration and visa paperwork, voting registration, filing taxes- you name it. She was repeatedly struck by how difficult it was. Our country's most basic and vital resources are being kept from the people who need them most, trapped under a mountain of confusing verbiage, broken links, and outdated technology. Leigh believes that our community needs and deserves improved access to these resources.

Leigh has worked with clients including Penguin Random House, National Public Radio, New York Magazine, TNT Network, and Warner Bros Entertainment. Her background includes experience in both agency and administrative environments as well as 15+ years as an illustrator, designer, and educator.

Leigh holds a BFA in Visual Communications  from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago, and is a graduate of the UX Design Career Track from Springboard.
